The Spacal House was once the home and art studio of the renowned Triestine–Slovenian artist Luigi Spacal.
Today, it welcomes guests into a truly exceptional setting: right on the seashore, suspended between earth and sky at the very tip of the Piran Peninsula.
Here, surrounded by peace and the gentle sound of the waves, you will experience a breathtaking panorama that embraces the sea in all its shades.
Apartments with a Breathtaking Sea View
The two Spacal Apartments are located at the very tip of the Piran promontory, right beside the historic lighthouse.
Both suites stand directly above the sea, offering an experience that is as close to the water as you can possibly be.
Each apartment features a private 35 m² sea-front terrace – a space so close to the waves that it feels like having your own private beach.
Here, you can relax, sunbathe, dine, or simply admire the endless horizon and unforgettable sunsets.
The house was carefully refurbished in 2010 and again in 2021, preserving its artistic soul while enhancing comfort and modern amenities.

Our Location
Piran Sea Art Suites Spacal enjoys the most unique position in Piran:
on the very top of the promontory, directly facing the open sea, and the only house in town with two large sea-front terraces.
Piran is a car-free zone, ensuring absolute tranquillity. Here you can relax your body and mind, immersed in the blue horizon and the slow rhythm of this coastal town.
If you are travelling by car, you can park comfortably in one of the town’s official garages.
From there, a convenient transport service can bring you and your luggage directly to our house.
